Model 98 with Model 23P Type Holder Model 98 with Model 85 Two-Wheel Quick-Change Numbering Machine Model with Model 70P Numbering Machine and optional slotted “L” guage.
The Model 98 platform provides an ideal method of stamping parts with a hammer blow. The operator pulls down the handle and strikes the shank with a hammer. Because the marking device is held squarely to the part, the stamping is of uniform depth and aligned properly.
The Model 98 arm is hinged so that the operator can quickly view the stamping sequence. An “L” gauge is standard and can be moved “in” or “out” to provide a locating point. The table area is 4″ wide by 7″ deep. The available height under the arm is 3-7/8″.
The Model 23 Type Holder can be used as well as the Models 70, 80, 83 and 85 Numbering Machines.
Options for the Model 98 are as follows:
- Slotted “L” Gauge (provides for universal key positioning)
- Model 110 Universal Nameplate Holder.
- Nests or Strip Holders (for various tags or small parts)
